Take a look at what customers and dealers have to say about ATC Truck Cover products!

"5 years ago I purchased an ATC topper for my then brand new 2006 Toyota Tacoma and couldn't be happier. I have recommended ATC toppers to my friends and will continue to do so. The topper fits snugly and the paint color match is perfect! Thank you for all your help with the initial purchase and the excellent customer service ever since. Thanks again!!!"

"In 2010, our city, Vancouver, hosted the Winter Olympics. During the Olympics, the Canadian Armed Forces provided security and required over a thousand vehicles for their personnel. Enterprise, the car rental company, leased those vehicles to the military. The Canadian Armed Forces also needed hundreds of pickup trucks, with canopies to secure their equipment. Enterprise sent requests for quotations to all the main canopy dealers in Vancouver. Kingdom Truck won the bid, thanks to the great people at ATC Truck Covers. ATC provided the most competitive pricing plus the most aggressive delivery schedule of all our potential suppliers. ATC was able to make it happen."

"Just a note to thank you for your help in getting me a set of gas props for my tonneaus cover. They arrived on May 25 and the fit perfectly, no other hardware needed (much to my pleasure). They work a lot better than the old ones that I had there. Keep up the good work and I will recommend you to my friends. Again, thanks a lot."

I am writing this story to report an amazing survival of our ATC Hard Tonneau cover.

When we bought our tonneau cover my husband and I had never heard of this brand. We had both owned other brands but never ATC. The salesman raved about durability and we decided to give it a try. Well it was also less expensive than the other brands and was available sooner. We ordered it to match the factory paint.

I guess I should explain that my husband travels for his job all over the country. Carries every season of clothes with him and a wealth of other "necessary" things in order to live away from home for extended periods of time. We actually live on the coast of Texas. Anyway.......

On September 15th you may have heard about Hurricane Ike. Our home was one block off the water and sustained severe damage. Our tonneau cover was in a lower area storage shed and not on the truck. Something I will never hear the end of. During the hurricane evacuation my husband was in North Dakota and while I gathered things that included our 5yr old daughter and the family dog and cat, the tonneau cover was not a priority. OK...I couldn't lift it by myself and so I left it behind. About 2 weeks after the storm I was allowed to return to the house and inspect and retrieve anything that was salvagable. I found the tonneau cover 1 block away buried in sand and muck. I made the decision to leave it behind and gathered the clothes and what I thought were necessities that could be salvaged. I thought the cover was beyond repair.

On November 2nd my husband returned to our home for the first time and the tonneau cover was still in a pile of sand and a block away. He was determined to bring it home. I rolled my eyes a lot and helped load it on the truck. My husband complained for the 4hr drive to where we were staying with family about how I abandoned his truck cover. My comment was when he had it painted again that it had to have a hurricane on it.

We found a dealer (new to you) in Waco Texas that ordered a left hand latch and and adjustment knob to replace the missing and damaged parts. The shocks on the lid look bad but work really smoothly. I will say that the cover has several small cracks in the fiberglass. There are several scratches that we were told aren't "too deep". Here is the interesting news. Our insurance didn't cover the damages because it wasn't on the truck and FEMA doesn't think it's a necessity. Well the parts came in and my husband is thrilled to be able to lock and open and close his cover. When people ask if he bought it at a salvage yard, he is happy to tell the story and how durable his ATC cover is. So here is the rest of the story.

We are currently living in a motel while FEMA and several other government entities decide when we can move to another house. Our house will be torn down eventually. Did I mention that we have a dog and cat and 5yr old. Yep, it's very interesting. My husband is constantly looking for the right picture to put on the cover when we can afford to have it repaired.

There is a local body shop that said it would range between 600-700 dollars. I spend lots of time mentioning that having a home is more important than whether the tonneau cover is pretty. It doesn't leak, we've been though several rain storms, it now locks and closes with ease. I do wish there was a vacuum strong enough to get all the sand out the interior carpet. Every time we close it another pile of sand falls out of it. So, I am volunteering my husband to be your advertising king. We have pictures to show the before and after. He of course would like to have his cover fixed much faster than we will be able to afford it.

Sincerely,
